Motette zu Allerheiligen und Allerseelen
‚Andreas Pieper, Jahrgang 1958 studierte Kirchenmusik an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Westfalen-Lippe und Komposition bei Roland Ploeger an der Musikhochschule in Lübeck. 2002 war er Preisträger beim Kompositionswettbewerb des europäischen Musikfestivals Windrose im Rahmen der Ruhrfestspiele.

Von meditativer Schlichtheit bis zum strahlenden “Alleluja“ deutet die hier komponierte Motette “Iustorum animae“ atmosphärisch dicht einen berühmten Text aus dem “Buch der Weisheit“ über die Hoffnung der Menschen, jenseits ihrer Vergänglichkeit.‘
