Commissioned by VocalEssence (Minneapolis, Minnesota), Philip Brunelle, artistic director, with the world premiere presented on 22 March 2009 at Orchestra Hall with the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers and the St. Olaf Choir; Coro Citt(a` Di Roma who gave the first performance in Italy conducted by Maestro Mauro Marchetti on 20th June 2009; Khorikos, New York, and Falu Kammarkör, Sweden.
